Laura C. McClure, 68, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on November 14, 2005 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. She was the wife of Raymond A. McClure, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in West Grove, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Weaver Conner. Laura was a self-employed seamstress for the past 27 years, with many customers at the Kendal and Crosslands communities in Kennett Square, PA. She enjoyed sewing, walking, and being with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: One Son: Mark L. McClure, and wife Mary of Franklin, TN Daughter: Amy L. Cook, and husband Charles of Griffin, GA Sisters: Modesta Bailey of Claymont, DE Barbara Cloud of Kennett Square, PA Grandchildren: Nathan and Lauren McClure A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Unionville Presbyterian Church, 815 Wollaston Rd., Unionville, PA. Contributions may be made in Laura's memory to the Salvation Army, 101 E. Market St., West Chester, PA 19380 or to a charity of one's choice.
